Established in 2007, GMT Energy Resources Ltd was set up to provide technical and marine logistics services to the expanding oil and gas market in Nigeria. Following the enactment of the National Oil Content Law, we strengthened our capacity base, acquired stakes in new ventures, obtained ISO certification, became TRACE certified and qualified for the prestigious Class AA certification, thus automatically pre-qualifying us for any technical bids in Nigeria.

Since then, we have built a successful track record of major project delivery in Offshore Engineering, Procurement, Consulting and Installation (EPCI); supported by strong technical partnerships, an established base of capable local staff, marine logistics vessels, fabrication yards, effective Operations, Installation, Maintenance and Repair (OMIR) services and unswerving commitment to HSE.

We have also invested in nurturing talent through our rigorous mentoring, internship and apprenticeship programmes. As a socially responsible company, our projects are completed locally, harnessing the skills and capabilities of engineers in the local area. We support bright students through to graduate level as we strive to develop and maintain a youthful, energetic workforce, serving both the needs of the business and the community.

GMT Gas: The LNG market demand continues to expand world-wide and GMT is building extensive infrastructure capability to support development of Nigeria’s large natural gas resources. By increasing our involvement in gas capture, storage and transportation, we are not just backing growth but also fulfilling our own ambition of being a significant contributor to the economic growth of Nigeria.
GMT Power: Our aspiration is to become a leading specialist supplier of power connections to the residential, industrial and commercial markets. Through state-of-the-art infrastructure, investment in knowledge capital and strategic partnerships, we will generate exceptional value for customers.
